Religious Instruction
To be a catechist is a holy and noble vocation. Before children observe and study anything else, they observe and study their teachers. Thus, in religious instruction, the teacher becomes a living example for the children, and as such is called upon to be a model of faith.
At Notre Dame, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. Teachers at Notre Dame create a welcoming and nurturing environment where they and their children can enter more deeply into relationship with God. Along with the entire Christina community, they learn and grow in their faith.
