Sparks
Monthly Assemblies are a lot of fun. They give us an opportunity to recognize students:
-Caught Being Good Ticket Recipients
-Birthdays
-Class Projects
Furthermore, we learn more about our Catholic faith by having a designated Saint of the Month. The saint’s feast day falls on one day of the specific month, giving us an opportunity to learn more about models of faith and to grow in our knowledge of the Catholic Church.
In addition, we also have a monthly “Spark”. The concept of sparks is more than the activities that inspire kids; it includes the adults that help kids find what motivates them, communities that support kids in developing their talents, and the benefits that kids see because they have and can identify their spark.
Every month Notre Dame promotes one Spark for kids to practice that month.
