School Council & PANDA
PANDA= Parent at Notre Dame Association
All parents and guardians of students attending Notre Dame are automatically members of the school council. We urge parents to take an active role on school council, so that it will continue as the vibrant and supportive group it has always been. Besides being an advisory body to the school administration, the school council at Notre Dame School takes on the dual role of sponsoring and supervising such school activities as: Hot Lunch, Grade Six Farewell, Playground Building and countless other projects that beautify the school and grounds, while enhancing the programs and environment at our schools.
Our parent council has many purposes. We offer appropriate fundraising opportunities that aid in the education and well-being of all students at Notre Dame. We are a voice for the parents in a positive working relationship with Notre Dame School. In addition, we use the “town hall” or “assembly” model for our meetings. All members, in attendance, may speak to and vote on all motions.
